Within the pharmaceutical industry, there is general consensus that pure and well-characterized compounds are the prerequisite input for biological screening and lead optimization programs. Over the past several years SCYNEXIS has focused on efficiently delivering compounds of proven purity to our MEDCHEM-FACTORY® customers in a cost-effective manner. We have purified over 500,000 compounds to date.

Realization of our high-throughput purification and analysis system derives from the collaboration and integration of several expert groups: Medicinal Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Automation, and Information Technologies. This unique structure has created an enabling technology for discovery chemistry: the SCYNEXIS HTPC (High-Throughput Purification and Characterization) platform.
