The complex process of transforming a hit into a clinical candidate involves data generated by a broad range of sources. The success of the project relies on the capability of the partners to easily, securely and efficiently access, share and communicate the right information at the right time. HEOS® is a web portal that provides a secure and user-friendly data handling system. It allows all the involved collaborators to view results and make informed decisions.
HEOS® is seamlessly integrated to “best” scientific expert software currently used in the Pharmaceutical Industry. It allows complex data (biology, chemistry, analytical, safety, PK...) to be exchanged, consolidated and shared rapidly and securely across multi-sites worldwide. It provides powerful searching capabilities to combine substructure and biological criteria, interactive SAR capabilities and decision tools to scientists and management.
HEOS® has, over the past 6 years, supported many different types of discovery programs from early discovery to pre-clinical. It is heavily used by users around the world including large pharmaceutical companies and biotechnology companies.
Today HEOS® supports the research database and partners’ network of large organizations involved in the research for neglected diseases. It captures, harmonizes and consolidates information from more than 30 organizations worldwide (Africa, Asia, Brazil, Australia, Europe, North America). HEOS® has become in few years the standard knowledge-sharing resource for neglected diseases drug discovery.
